If we can all brave the aftermath of our 4th big snowstorm, there will be a stellar panel to discuss Mirror Dance at Foulkeways this Saturday evening, February 27. Ann Tegnell will introduce producer-directors Frances McElroy and María Teresa Rodríguez who will be joined by the film’s subjects, Margarita de Saá White and John White. It will be quite a treat for us all to be together again, as it simply doesn’t happen often. The Franklin Institute hawk cam is live again. Haggards (mom+dad) are tending the nest on a ledge at the NW corner of the Institute. We can hope for more eyasses (baby red-tails) this year. Keep your eyes peeled on trips around the Parkway. Word is that the adults may be performing fabulous aerial mating flights about now.
